History

Established in 2011.

Chilangos Seafood, located in Kenner, was established 6 years after hurricane Katrina. The owner's purpose was to offer an authentic Mexican flavor coming directly from Veracruz and Mexico City to the community. During the past 9 years, Chilangos Seafood has been growing and nowadays is one of the most famous authentic Mexican restaurants in New Orleans. Because of that, the restaurant recently opened a new location on South Carrollton named Chilangos Bar & Grill, which has been very well received in the neighborhood.
